Prescribed burn to take place in Hume today

Hume (Geopolitical Entity)

A prescribed burn is scheduled for today, November 10, in Hume.

The burning will take place roughly between 11am and 4pm west of the Monaro Highway, near its intersection with Lanyon Drive in Hume.

Passers-by may see smoke and fire while the burn is ongoing.

This burn is being managed by the ACT Rural Fire Service. Citizens are urged to call Triple Zero if they see an unattended fire.
