Barriers and fencing go up around White House ahead of Trump’s inauguration

Preparations are underway for the security of the White House ahead of Donald Trump's 2025 presidential inauguration.

After winning the 2024 election, Trump will be named the 45th President of the United States on Monday, January 20th, 2025.

Residents of the District of Columbia area noticed concrete barriers and non-scalable fences being put up around the White House a few days ahead of the controversial president-elect's ceremony.

After two previous assassination attempts on Donald Trump's life, the Metropolitan Chief of Police stated, "Our entire police department will be activated for the presidential inauguration. In addition, we'll be reinforced with nearly 4,000 officers from across the United States who are generous enough to raise their hands and commit their time to assist the Metropolitan Police Department,".
