Preparations have been completed in the district for the SSLC and Plus Two examinations.
While 36,186 students will appear for the SSLC examinations that will begin on March 31, a total of 36,909 students are writing the Plus Two examinations that will start on March 30. While 9,928 students will appear for the SSLC examinations from the Thrissur education district, 15,040 students will take the examination from Chavakkad and 11,218 from Irinjalakuda. The examination will conclude on April 29.
Though the examinations were being held in a completely risk-free condition this time, students and teachers should not drop caution against COVID-19, Deputy Director of Education T.V. Madanamohanan said. Students should bring masks and sanitiser. As the mercury was soaring, they should also bring drinking water. Students should not share water bottles, he said.
Plus Two
The Plus Two examinations, which will start on March 30, will conclude on April 26. In all, 196 centres are there in the district for the Plus Two examinations.
Examinations will be held by maintaining COVID-19 protocol, according to district higher secondary coordinator V.M. Karim.
