Premier Sports last 16 draw confirmed as Hearts handed all-Premiership affair at Tynecastle

Hearts have been drawn at home to face Kilmarnock in the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup.

Rangers have been drawn at home to face Queen of the South while Celtic face a lengthy trip to Ross County as the clubs competing in European competition enter the fold for the knockout phase of this tournament. The Jambos come into this one at the last 16 due to their involvement and preparations for their Europa League play-off matches, which will be played in August.

Robbie Neilson's men host a Kilmarnock side managed by Derek McInnes and who will face them in the Premiership this season after winning 2021/22's Championship. It's been a cup full of shocks so far throughout the group stages. 2021 finalists Hibs are out after a calamitous group stage involved a 1-0 defeat to Falkirk and 3-0 loss to Morton because of an administrative error. Annan Athletic will have designs on another giant killing at home to Aberdeen at Galabank.
