New Manchester United manager Erik Ten-Hag insists that wantaway forward Cristiano Ronaldo is going nowhere.

The Manchester United icon has been linked with a move away from the club in recent weeks, with Chelsea being mooted as one of CR7's potential suitors.

However, Ten-Hag has poured cold water on these rumours, saying he's looking forward to working with the 37 year old.

"We are planning with Ronaldo for this season - that's it. I'm looking forward to working with him."

"He hasn't told me this. I have read, but as I say, Cristiano is not for sale, he's in our plans and we want to get success together."

"I spoke with him before this issue came up. I had a conversation with him and had a real good talk."

Republic of Ireland international Nathan Collins is on the verge of signing for Wolves and becoming the most expensive Irish player ever in the process.

Collins only signed for Burnley last summer in a £12.6 million deal from Stoke. The 21-year old Leixlip man impressed many with his performances this year for club and country, and it was widely expected that a Premier League club would come calling.

John Percy of The Telegraph reports that while a deal hasn't been fully done yet, talks between the two clubs are going well, with Collins' move to Wolves being described as 'close.'

Chelsea are interested in former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry as the club consider potential alternatives to Raphinha and hold talks with AC Milan over a deal to sell Hakim Ziyech after only two seasons at the club.

Daily Telegraph reports that Chelsea are keen to sign Gnabry as his Bayern Munich career appears to be at an end with the signing of Sadio Mane. Gnabry has scored 64 goals and registered 40 assists in 171 games for Bayern.

Paul Pogba has completed his move to Juventus.

The French midfielder joins as a free agent after his contract at Manchester United expired this summer.

The World Cup winning midfielder returns to the club that made him a star and continues a trend of Pogba returning to clubs he used to play for.

And Pogba has already annoyed Manchester United fans by refusing to sign a United jersey for a fan ahead of his unveiling.

Rodri has signed a new contract for Manchester City.

The Spanish midfielder signed a new five year deal which means he will stay in Manchester until 2027.

With the departure of Fernandinho, Rodri is sure to become an even more integral to Pep Guardiola's side.

Rodri said: "Joining City in 2019 is the best decision I have made in my career," he said. "I have loved every second. The fans have been amazing with me, I feel totally supported by the club and the manager pushes me every single day."

"City, I feel, offers me the best chance of winning trophies and that's why I am so pleased to be staying here for longer."

Leeds United wingers move to Barcelona appears to be edging closer. The saga has dragged on for weeks, with both Chelsea and Arsenal dropping out of the race to sign the Brazilian winger.

However, Barca have still yet to confirm the transfer.

In more surprising news, The Daily Mail reports that the Catalan giants are looking into the possibility of signing Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.

The club's president Joan Laporta and agent Jorge Mendes are said to have already discussed a strategy to get a deal over the line.

Barca's optimism stems from reports claiming that Silva wants to play for Barcelona, however City are likely to demand a fee in the region of £85 million.
