Mikel Arteta is more convinced than ever that Arsenal are going to win the Premier League following their defeat to Manchester City.
Speaking after the 3-1 reverse, he said: "I have more belief [to win the league] because I see a team going head-to-head with them.”
Despite Arteta’s almost touching confidence in his side, the momentum looks to have swung firmly in Manchester City’s favour, with Pep Guardiola’s side leapfrogging their hosts to the Premier League summit.
Seasoned title contenders, even Arsenal ’s game in hand can’t persuade the bookies the silverware is going anywhere else but the Etihad come the end of the season.
