When the Premier League returns on Saturday, April 1, the final push for its 20 teams begins. With most clubs set to play six times in April, it looks set to be a big month, with only 11 sides guaranteed top-flight football next season and six teams fighting to qualify for the Champions League.
That's not to forget the top-of-the-table fight between reigning champions Manchester City and a rejuvenated Arsenal side looking for their first Premier League title since 2003/04.
The league leaders extended their lead to eight points before the international break and it could easily be described as the Gunners' title to lose, but April will bring tests against Liverpool and Chelsea, not forgetting the highly anticipated duel against Pep Guardiola's side on April 26, where Mikel Arteta will be looking for revenge against his former boss.
Whereas, the reigning champions will return from international duty to face an unpredictable Liverpool side, before tests against Leicester City and Southampton in the lead-up to their title decider on Wednesday, April 26.
We also can't forget about the battle for the Champions League and the unknown fates of Manchester United and Chelsea in their European competitions, who could steal the remaining place by bringing home silverware in the Europa League and UEFA Champions League respectively.
Eight points separate Erik Ten Hag's side in third and Brentford in eighth place, with Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Liverpool, and Brighton and Hove Albion in between.
And the opening weekend back from the international break will see four of those teams duel it out, as Brighton take on Brentford and Newcastle face Manchester United.
For the remaining 11 sides, three are guaranteed top-flight football next season - Fulham, Chelsea, and Aston Villa. But they could still have a part to play in the races at either end of the table.
Just four points between 12th place and 20th place mean we could be on course for the closest relegation fight in the league's history.
Three massive battles on the return from the international break see Palace begin their second era under Roy Hodgson against Leicester City, whilst Nottingham Forest will take on Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers, before bottom-of-the-table Southampton faces 18th-placed West Ham United - with a win capable of taking either side out of the relegation zone.
And whilst April, 26, might supply fans with the title decider, the 'other South Coast derby' could decide things in the bottom-of-the-table clash.
