Arsenal’s lead at the top of the Premier League table has been cut this weekend after a draw at West Ham.
Manchester City’s cruise past Leicester on Saturday has kept the title race very tight, while just behind Newcastle were thumped away to Aston Villa.
In addition, Tottenham’s defeat to Bournemouth opened up a shot for Manchester United, who eased past Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Brighton also beat Chelsea with Villa making a late push.
At the bottom, Southampton and Everton suffered further defeats while Wolves earned a vital three points by downing Brentford.
Liverpool would round off the weekend with a big win over Leeds at Elland Road. The 6-1 win takes them within six points of the top six with two games in hand on in-form Villa.
