Premier League football is set to return this weekend, according to reports which would suggest Nottingham Forest's clash with Fulham will go ahead.
Steve Cooper's Reds are due to host fellow promoted side Fulham at the City Ground on Friday night. But, with Queen's state funeral set to take place on Monday and following the postponements of league games last weekend, the match was in doubt.
Though, the Mirror claim that the Premier League are 'hoping' get as many games on as possible next weekend following the postponement of the previous match week, as Forest's trip to Elland Road on Monday night was called off. The Mirror adds that The TV companies, clubs and Premier League are 'desperate' to get the games on.

The Premier League will still have to overcome one major hurdle, however. Police officers are on standby in London ahead of the Queen’s state funeral next Monday, which causes problems for all games taking place in the capital this coming weekend.
Forest have started the season fairly slowly after winning one of their opening six league games. A disappointing home defeat to Bournemouth condemned Steve Cooper's side to a fourth defeat after the first few weeks of the new campaign.
