Anthony Gordon scored another fine goal to put another few million on his transfer value in Everton 's draw with Leeds United.
The Toffees academy graduate picked up where he left off against Brentford as he produced another clinical finish to give them the lead on 17 minutes.
Alex Iwobi played a defence-splitting pass inside to pick out Gordon’s run and he coolly slotted the ball home through Illan Meslier’s legs. It was the first effort of the game and Everton had spent the preceding 17 minutes pinned back in their own half as Leeds dominated possession and territory.
Leeds showed more urgency after the break and Brenden Aaronson and Jack Harrison forced saves from Jordan Pickford. Their pressure told on 55 minutes when Aaronson fed Sinisterra and his left-foot shot flew past Pickford with the Everton goalkeeper unsighted by James Tarkowski.
In the meantime, Aleksandar Mitrovic ’s sizzling start to the season continued as Brighton were denied their first proper summit in English football.
Save for a few minutes on Saturday before Manchester City mounted their comeback against Crystal Palace, the Seagulls have never sat on top of the pile and a victory here in west London would have sent them there for 24 hours at least.
Mitrovic and Co had other ideas, though, and after the Big Serb made it five goals in five games with an instinctive finish, Lewis Dunk added an own-goal that would put the result beyond his side.
Alexis Mac Allister did halve the deficit from the penalty spot to give the Seagulls hope midway through the second half after a VAR review handed the visitors a spot-kick. But Marco Silva’s men were impressively tight at the back and Brighton’s little slice of history will have to wait.

Elsewhere, Wilfried Zaha 's second-half stunner should have been enough to secure a much-needed three points for Crystal Palace in a lively encounter against Brentford, only for Yoane Wissa's last-gasp strike to provide a late sucker-punch.
The Ivorian winger returned to Patrick Vieira's starting XI after missing the 4-2 defeat at Manchester City through injury - and he provided further evidence of just how important he is to his manager's long-term project. His performance on Tuesday night came against the backdrop of more transfer speculation linking him with a move before Thursday's deadline, with Chelsea and Arsenal believed to be keeping tabs on his situation.
But Zaha didn't seem bothered about those links and produced yet another moment of magic - something that the Selhurst Park faithful have become more than accustomed to. His dipping effort in the 59th minute looked as though it would wrap up a deserved win for Palace, who had dominated the Bees throughout this contest.
However, Wissa struck in the 88th minute as he headed home Vitaly Janelt's cross to secure a point for the Bees despite rarely having tested Vicente Guaita in the Palace goal.
Finally, Chelsea were not follow-up their morale-boosting win against Leicester as they slumped to a miserable defeat against Southampton.
The Blues actually enjoyed the perfect start to proceedings as Raheem Sterling followed up his brace against t he Foxes with a composed opener at St Mary's. However, Romeo Lavia's first goal for the Saints - a fantastic effort from distance - quickly saw the Saints level.
It then got even worse for the Blues as Adam Armstrong completed the hosts' turnaround just before the break, whilst a stunning second-half clearance from summer signing Marc Cucurella deprived Southampton of their third. Thiago Silva then repeated the trick 15 minutes left on the clock as Chelsea's dire performance sees their inconsostent start to the campaign continue.
