The Premier League now very much back in full swing after the final international break of the season. With some huge games coming up between sides at the bottom of the table, it is set to be a huge week in the battle to beat the drop.
First of all on Wednesday, Everton make the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley, in what could be do or die for the Clarets. Leeds United then travel to Watford at the weekend, before Sean Dyche’s side then face another crucial match against Norwich City.
So ahead of a vital week of action, here is a look at the latest bookmakers’ odds, courtesy of Sky Bet.
Brentford and Newcastle United – 33/1
Following Brentford’s run of three victories in their last four matches – including Saturday’s incredible 4-1 win at Chelsea – the Bees are now huge odds to be relegated. Eddie Howe’s Newcastle also have little to no chance of finishing in the bottom three according to the bookies despite their recent blip.
Leeds – 10/3
After securing seven points in their last three games, Leeds are now 10/3 to drop into the Championship. The Whites have a solid eight-point buffer to the bottom three, however the fact they have played three games more than Burnley and Everton is what is keeping them in the mix.
Everton – 2/1
Everton’s dismal run on the road under Frank Lampard continued on Sunday with a 2-1 defeat to West Ham United. They are now into 2/1 to be relegated, which could represent very good value considering who they have to play in their final 10 games.
Burnley – 1/2
The first team to be odds on to finish in the bottom three are Burnley, who are four points adrift of safety in 19 th place after four defeats in a row. A huge game at Turf Moor against Everton on Wednesday could see these odds change dramatically one way or another.
Watford – 1/7
Despite sitting above Burnley in the table, Watford are even shorter odds to be relegated at 1/7. The Hornets have been more solid under Roy Hodgson but have still found wins hard to come by.
Norwich City – 1/100
Norwich now look almost certainties to be relegated after a run of just two points in their last nine matches. At odds of 1/100, it is going to take a miracle for Dean Smith’s side.
