Premier League make decision over Everton vs West Ham and kick-off time change

The Premier League have confirmed that West Ham United’s meeting with Everton will go ahead on Sunday afternoon.

In a statement on Monday afternoon, the Premier League made decisions over the nine games due to take place this weekend, with Brighton and Hove Albion’s meeting with Crystal Palace already postponed due to a rail strike that has since been cancelled.

While Chelsea vs Liverpool and Manchester United vs Leeds United have both been postponed, the Hammer's trip to Goodison Park will still go ahead with a new kick-off time.

The Premier League clash, which pits David Moyes against his former side, will now take place at the slightly later kick-off time of 2:15pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports. Football.London will also be providing live updates from Merseyside.

That meeting is one of two matches taking place on Sunday, with Brentford taking on Arsenal at midday.

Policing required as part of events planned following the death of Queen Elizabeth II have been cited for reasons as to why three matches have been postponed.
