Premier League Golden Boot odds as Newcastle United's Callum Wilson among the contenders

Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson is priced at 33/1 to win the Premier League golden boot for the 2022/23 campaign on Sky Bet. Wilson scored 8 goals in 18 games during an injury-hit season last term.

Even though Eddie Howe is reportedly on the hunt for a striker, Wilson is set to start the season up front for the Magpies. He has scored 20 goals in 44 Premier League appearances for Newcastle, so despite having a few injury setbacks, the 30-year-old is almost averaging a goal every other game on Tyneside.

The most goals Wilson has ever scored at Premier League level is 14 when he was at Bournemouth during the 2018/19 season, finishing as the ninth highest scorer.

Wilson's team-mates Allan Saint-Maximin and Chris Wood are big 100/1 shots to finish as the division's top scorer, while Miguel Almiron is priced at 200/1.

Unsurprisingly, new Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is 11/4 favourite for the Golden Boot. Last season's joint winners Mohamed Salah and Heung-Min Son are priced at 9/2 and 12/1 respectively.

Mohamad Salah - Liverpool (9/2)

Harry Kane - Tottenham Hotspur (11/2)
