After Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest purchase - the £9m Bugatti La Voiture Noire - we take a look at what players are driving a little closer to home.
Everyone likes their cars, but footballers are among the only people on earth earning enough money to be able to afford the best. And, when you can afford them, why not show them off?
Cristiano Ronaldo . Everyone has heard of him, whether you like football or not. And he has, over the years, had his fair share of luxury cars.
His latest acquisition, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire stands, at over £9m, as the most expensive car ever.
So, that’s CR7 sorted, but what are players a bit closer to home driving. We take a look at some of the top Premier League footballers’ motors.

Ederson
Manchester City ’s PFA Team of the Year goalkeeper recently went viral with a picture on his Instagram .
The upload, you have no doubt seen, pictures him and his wife, Lais, sat on the bonnet of their Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster, while sporting some questionable attire.
The car itself will set you back £433,000, operating off a V12 engine with a whopping 740HP.
It reaches speeds of 217mph and goes from 0-60mph in just three seconds flat.

Raheem Sterling
Ederson’s Man City team mate and PFA Young Player of the Year Raheem Sterling boasts an enviable selection of motors, and who can blame him?
Among the cars at his disposal, is the most luxurious SUV in the world, the Porsche Cayenne.
Sterling’s white turbo model, despite starting at £99,000, will surely be one that doesn’t see the light of day unless it’s a special occasion.
While having outstanding capability on tricky terrain, the Cayenne can still record speeds of 177mph, while reaching 60mph in 3.9 seconds.

Wayne Rooney
Although now plying his trade across the pond at DC United, Rooney is still an English player, even if technically not English-based.
The former Manchester United and Everton Forward is another with a passion for cars, and one of his personal favourites is the customised orange Bentley Continental GT.
A popular choice among many Premier League players, the motor retails from around £165,000 and fits a 6.0 litre W12 engine.
It can reach top speeds of 207mph and clocks 60mph in 3.6 seconds.

Kevin De Bruyne
Much like his performances on the pitch, KDB’s car is sleek, stylish and beautifully executed.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is a machine amongst cars, and a very flamboyant vehicle deploying excellent performance both on and off-road.
Starting at around £91,000, the ‘G Wagon’ provides stable handling at side-slope angles of up to 70% and has climbing ability of up to 100%.
This, combined with its crisp handling and assured suspension, make it the ultimate road-trip-mobile.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
The prolific Arsenal frontman is known for his eye-catching plethora of cars, and certainly doesn’t hold back when the time comes for an upgrade.
Arguably his most prized motor, the £1m Ferrari ‘LaFerrari’ (creative, we know) is one of only 499 produced worldwide.
The highly sought-after vehicle has a V12 engine with 950HP.
Capable of speeds of, wait for it, 227mph, this nippy little number reaches 60mph in just 2.9 seconds.

Luke Shaw
Not to call Man United full-back Luke Shaw a follower of crowds, but his Range Rover Sport SVR is arguably the most popular car amongst footballers.
Starting at just under £100,000, the extravagant 4x4 is also driven by the likes of Red Devils team mates Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard.
Mixing performance and practicality with style and aesthetics, this powerful motor stores 575HP.
And, in addition to its 174mph top speed, it can reach 60mph in just 4.3 seconds.
