The Premier League have appointed Anthony Taylor as referee for the clash between Leeds United and Nottingham Forest at Elland Road. It's the first time the 43-year-old has taken charge of a Whites' game this season with his last fixture coming in the 2021/22 campaign against Chelsea.
The Blues ran out 3-0 winners that day with Daniel James picking up a red card, leaving Jesse Marsch two games to save Leeds' Premier League status. The rest is of course history and the Whites have made a solid enough start to the current campaign.
Taylor has taken charge of five Premier League fixtures so far in the 2022/23 campaign. The most notable of those coming in the London derby, a game shrouded in controversy.
