Xavi himself has been amazed by Cubarsí's playing style, commenting, 'He is already playing like a player who is far older than his years. He is aggressive, he does not lose possession, and he's so good at bringing the ball out from the back.'

The young defender joined Barcelona in 2018 at the age of 11, having spent four years at Girona.
