Premier League announce fixture changes as Tottenham learn new dates for Man United and Liverpool

The Premier League have announced amendments to the fixture schedule for the month of April, with Tottenham facing four switches, with those clashes being televised. It comes ahead of a huge month for the Lilywhites, who face the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle in a matter of weeks.

Spurs will be hopeful of navigating through the end of February and March in positive form, having broken back into the top four at the weekend. Back-to-back qualification for the Champions League will be the goal for Antonio Conte, who is looking to build his project up after a few transfer windows.

The Italian managed to guide the club back to the top European competition for this season, with a major increase of TV revenue and the so-called "pulling power" in the transfer market. Repeating that feat could be huge for the foundations of the squad towards more sustained success.

Recent victories over West Ham and Man City will bring some hope of another top four finish, though a thrashing at the hands of Leicester City may have underlined a softer underbelly. A huge clash with Chelsea next week will test them once again, but a run of games before a tough April are on the cards.

The match at Goodison Park against Everton has been moved to Monday, April 3 and will be shown live on Sky Sports. A trip to St James' Park is later in the month and will be played on Sunday, April 23 also on Sky Sports, before a home match with Manchester United on Thursday, April 27 that will be on BT Sport.

To end the month, Conte's men make another huge trip north to face Liverpool at Anfield, which will now be played on Sunday, April 30 on Sky Sports. By the time May rolls around, the side will have a better idea of how their season may pan out, though they will be hopeful it can be a positive month with just a few games left to secure Champions League football after.
