A 19-year-old gave birth in her mum's hot tub - revealing that she did it without any medication.
The woman said she was happy to have experienced the birth at home, as she had a high-risk pregnancy.
Chloe-Elizabeth Elliott, 19, from Pontefract, Yorkshire, gave birth to her healthy baby girl Elizabeth-Hope, at home with her mum, Elizabeth, 38, right by her side.
The pregnancy was initially deemed high-risk as she had crippling chronic endometriosis and polycystic ovaries.
But after being checked at 30 weeks, medics said she was low-risk, so she opted for a home birth, which she did without any mediation as she has a "high pain threshold".
Unsure of whether she'd be able to have any more children, the 19-year-old said she wanted to have her 'dream birth' - in case she never gets the chance to experience it again.
She explained, saying: "My mum thought I was insane, she was expecting to need to ring an ambulance, but she never needed to, I didn't even cry out once!
"All I was doing was blowing the water. I'm used to this kind of pain from my illness, so I was mentally preparing for the contractions already.
"I definitely have a high pain threshold and the pains weren't as bad as endometriosis pains.
"I'm so happy I was able to have this kind of birth because I knew I was a high-risk, and I knew there was a chance I wouldn't have the baby at end of it."
Chloe-Elizabeth went on to say she thought she would "never be able to have a baby", but after giving birth has been feeling so elated and happy.
She said that throughout her pregnancy and giving birth, she was supported by her mum, who she described as an "extraordinary woman".
The new mum said: "I never felt like I was alone. My mum was there every step of the way with me, and has been since I found out I was pregnant.
"My mum is an extraordinary woman, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without her. She is hands-on and she is a great grandma.
"It was a really peaceful and relaxing birth, and my pregnancy was fine too. I enjoyed every minute of it.
"Giving birth at home made me feel a lot more relaxed.
"I am terrified of hospitals as I have experienced a lot of medical trauma so this was the best experience ever.
"Elizabeth-Hope is an amazing baby, she is growing up to be so smart and we're so close, just like me and my mum are."
