A 21-year-old pregnant woman has been fatally shot after trying to rob a group of drug dealers.
The young woman, who was seven-months pregnant at the time, was shot and killed before they threw her body into the street and dumped a pile of cash onto it.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Genesis Escobar and is believed to have planned the robbery with her boyfriend.
They had climbed into a parked car in Chicago, US, before Escobar was shot in the shoulder, back and hand, police said.
A witness reported seing the victim's boyfriend grab some of the dumped cash and fleeing, leaving his pregnant girlfriend dying on the ground.

Escobar was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her unborn baby daughter also died.
A friend of Escobar, Iris Alvarez, lived not far from the scene and Ms Alvarez said the victim had come to visit Alvarez's daughter around 1 pm shortly before the killing.
Later, Ms Alvarez told told CBS: "She texted my daughter and told my daughter: 'Please help me! I'm in trouble!'
"But my daughter was sleeping."

The two were awoken by four gunshots, the sound of their friend being killed.
Alvarez continued: "They looked out the window and seen that the vehicle - someone opened the driver door, walked around the vehicle, pulled the body out, and drove off."
She added: "My heart is broken in pieces. She was also seven months pregnant with a baby girl.
“I don’t know if she was into some kind of trouble."

The victim had been arrested several times in recent years and was on probation for a misdemeanour battery conviction.
She was also under indictment on a felony count of possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Other charges of theft and drug possession had been dropped, court records show.
No arrests have yet been made but police are still investigating.
