Pregnant mum of 7 'picky' kids says she spends thousands every month on groceries

A young mum who hates being pregnant is expecting her eighth child - and says she has to spend thousands every month on groceries because her brood are such picky eaters.

Yalancia and Michael Rosario, from Dallas, Texas, are proud parents of Jamel, 12, Michael Jr, nine, Angelo, eight, Gimani, five, Armani, three.

They also have Sincere, one, and Khaza, five months. Their fourth son, also named Armani, was tragically stillborn.

There are many hungry mouths to feed and Yalancia, 29, revealed the cost of her weekly shopping bill.

The kids don't just eat anything, their mum says - but she makes sure she get everything she needs in one time consuming visit.

They have fans all around the world thanks to their show, My Extraordinary Family.

But she says shopping bills have hit five figures every year because the kids won't eat anything they are not sure about.

"We usually do a dozen of eggs and they eat some pancake sausages - that's what the younger kids eat because they're picky," she said.

"Believe it or not, I only go to the grocery store once a week, and we usually spend about $400 a week.

"My biggest challenge is managing all the extra laundry and the housework."

With another new arrival on the way, she doesn't seem in the mood stop there.

"I love having a big family," Yalancia said. "I wouldn't trade it for the world. Literally, it's never a dull moment, and everywhere we go, we get great behaviour compliments.

"They're great children. I do believe them having that family togetherness helps a lot.

"I'm great with the idea of 10 to 12 kids," she added, although she admits she "doesn't actually like being pregnant".

Yalancia added: "I get severely sick. I puke non-stop all day long. It doesn't stop.

"'It lasts the whole nine months until you actually push the baby out. If Michael could carry babies, I would surely let him finish off carrying the rest."

They have another child on the way and after eight boys, they hoped this time things would be different.

But during a gender reveal that was documented on the Truly series, they confirmed another little lad was due later this year.

"If I was going to Las Vegas, I'll be betting on blue for sure," she joked.
