Lateysha Grace is in hospital due to developing pre-eclampsia during her second pregnancy.
The 29-year-old updated her social media fans from her hospital bed and asked her followers to "pray" for her unborn child.
"What’s meant to be the most exciting week for me has turned out to be the worst!, she wrote on Instagram.
"Honestly if anyone feels like they may have preeclampsia please get it checked out ASAP it’s so dangerous to you and your baby. I don’t know how long I’m going to be in here for but please just pray for my baby."
She then went on to list the signs of preeclampsia in a bid to help other mothers to be.
MTV reality star Latesha wrote: "severe headache, vision problems, such as blurring or flashing, pain just below the ribs, vomiting, sudden swelling of the face, hands or feet.
The Valleys personality later explained that she sought medical advice two weeks ago but she did not think her condition would "be as severe" as it ended up being.
"I wish I was taken more seriously when I went in with swollen feet two weeks ago. I don’t think it would be as severe as it currently is right now," she revealed.
"And to top of all of this I have covid. I just have to be as strong as I can be for my baby.”
Pre-eclampsia is a condition that affects some pregnant women, usually during the second half of pregnancy (from 20 weeks) or soon after their baby is delivered, the NHS website states.
The healthcare site adds: "Although many cases are mild, the condition can lead to serious complications for both mother and baby if it's not monitored and treated. The earlier pre-eclampsia is diagnosed and monitored, the better the outlook for mother and baby."
Latesyha already has a six-year-old daughter, Wynter Charles, from a previous relationship.

In December, The Big Brother alum shared the news of her pregnancy in Closer magazine and said she struggled in the first trimester, despite her first pregnancy being "a breeze."
She speculated that it may be because she's "older now," noting that she could "barely get out of bed or eat" for the first few months of her current pregnancy.
Lateysha said: "My boyfriend had to do everything for me - I wasn't physically being sick but I just nauseous all the time."
She also revealed that she will "do things differently" from her pregnancy with Wynter in 2015.
The Celebrity Ex on the Beach star was referring to having had excess fat from her body transferred to her bum shortly after giving birth to her first child six years ago.
She told the outlet that she was "so unhappy" with her body after having Wynter that she "rushed into surgery" - having a bum lift and breast implants.
Lateysha said that she won't rush into having procedures after she's had her second child.
She said: "I know what to expect now. My body is going to change. I'm going to put on weight and get stretch marks, but honestly, I don't care. I'm just grateful to be pregnant."
