Lucy Fallon has shared how her Christmas did not end how she hoped as she celebrated her last festive season before becoming a mum. The former Coronation Street star is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Ryan Ledson.
Earlier this month Lucy, who hails from Blackpool, revealed she is expecting a baby boy, due in February, at her wild baby shower with her former ITV soap co-stars. And taking to Instagram on Boxing Day, the 23-year-old shared how she spent her Christmas.
Sharing a string of images with her hundreds of thousands of followers, mum-to-be Lucy could be seen cuddling up to her pet pooch, Sushi, while donning red and white striped pyjamas in front of the Christmas tree.

The former soap star styled her long blonde tresses into waves and slicked a bit of red gloss across her lips. Lucy also posted snaps with her family as they sat around the table for dinner before swapping her oversized white T-shirt and baggy trousers combo for a pink of pink polka dot pyjamas with feathered sleeves - complete with paper crown.
Sharing how the images didn't quite show how her Christmas really went, Lucy, who played Bethany Platt in Corrie, wrote: "It may have ended in a sickness bug, but it’s been a holly jolly one with our fam nonetheless. merry chrysler everyone."
But her friends and followers couldn't help but comment on Lucy's mum and dad who posed for a snap together in their cracker crowns with @lyncheycarolyn writing: "Aww Angela & Andy. Hope your lovely mum & Dad are well...you look blooming Lucy."
Before Christmas, the actress celebrated her impending arrival with her soap star pals, including Helen Flanagan, at the plush Shankly Hotel in Liverpool. Lucy's baby shower was attended by 100 guests, including Corrie favourites Helen, who played Rosie Webster, Sally Ann Matthews [Jenny Connor], Ellie Leach [Faye Windass], Colson Smith [Craig Tinker] and Katie McGlynn, who starred as Sinead Osbourne - nee Tinker - in the ITV soap.
Guests were able to sip on fizz from their very own prosecco cart and enjoyed a rousing DJ set that went on into the night with Lucy among those keen to hit the dance floor. Lucy’s guests also enjoyed afternoon tea and got stuck into a game of rock’n’roll bingo.
Lucy and footballer Ryan already knew the gender of their baby, she was handed an envelope disclosing the gender at their 16-week scan. She and Ryan opened it in front of close friends and family at home before a second reveal at her baby shower.
But Lucy said that even prior to that, she felt certain she was expecting a boy. "I knew. I just had this really strong feeling,” she told OK!. "The night before I said to Ryan, ‘I bet you £500 it’s going to be a boy.’ He still hasn’t sent me the money!"
