Pregnant Lucy Fallon shared how her Christmas plans did not go exactly to plan after celebrating her final festive period before becoming a mum for the first time.
The former Coronation Street star is currently seven months pregnant with a baby boy with footballer partner Ryan Ledson.
The couple revealed the gender of the baby, due in February, at her wild baby shower with her former ITV soap co-stars earlier this month.
Lucy, 27, shared a carousel of photos from the festive period where she wore an array of outfits including pyjamas and formal wear as she showed off her blossoming baby bump ahead of an exciting 2023 for her and Ryan.
Lucy took to Instagram on Boxing Day to share the intimate photos of her enjoying Christmas alongside her loved ones, but the former Bethany Platt actress revealed it did not end how she would have hoped to her 535,000 followers.
She wrote: "It may have ended in a sickness bug, but it’s been a holly jolly one with our fam nonetheless. merry chrysler everyone."
In the main photo, she is cuddling her pet dog Sushi as she wore comfy red and white pyjamas and smiley face slippers by her immaculate Christmas tree.
The next snap was a family selfie around the dining table as both her and Ryan's parents enjoyed the festivities together alongside the Preston midfielder's sister Georgia.
The blonde bombshell then shared two mirror selfies, firstly wearing an Ada oversized white t-shirt with baggy black trousers which was completed with silver watch and earrings.
Lucy slipped into another set of cosy pyjamas, this time pink polka dots with pink frilly sleeves as she finished her look with a silver Christmas cracker crown and her smiley slippers.
Adding a black suit jacket to her white t-shirt look, Lucy pretended to cry alongside one of her friends for the camera before sharing the details of the dining table decorations on her next photo.
She managed to get a smile from dog Sushi as she took a snap alongside sushi rolls dog treats before finishing her selection of images with a lovely snap of her parents.
Lucy and Ryan already knew the gender of their baby following their 16-week scan and opened an envelope to disclose whether they were having a boy or a girl in front of close friends and family before a second reveal at the baby shower.
However, Lucy is adamant she knew it was going to be a boy from early in the pregnancy. She told OK!: "I knew. I just had this really strong feeling. The night before I said to Ryan, ‘I bet you £500 it’s going to be a boy.’ He still hasn’t sent me the money!"
