Lucy Fallon has returned to social media after previously saying her unborn son was 'en route'. The former Coronation Street actress had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first child but has since been quiet on Instagram after keeping her fans updated on her pregnancy journey.
Lucy, who hails from Blackpool, announced back in September that she was pregnant with her and her boyfriend Ryan Ledson's first child. She revealed she was already five months pregnant with their bundle of joy and that she was due on February 2.
The former soap star's last social media silence prompted fans to think she had already given birth. However, Lucy, who played Bethany Platt in Corrie from 2015 to 2020, shut that down in a new post on her Instagram Story. She showed off her baby bump in a figure-hugging black dress as she appeared in a short video. "Due in less than a week," she wrote alongside the video.
However, Lucy has since gone quiet again after last posting a short video showing cute baby clothes covered in teddy bears and embroidered with "Baby Ledson." She wrote alongside that post: "En route."
But the mum-to-be has taken to social media on Friday (February 3) with a hint that her baby boy may have arrived. She posted a photo of a bunch of blue and white flowers onto her Instagram story with the 27-year-old sharing the photo over the song Wash from Bon Iver. Lucy also added a white heart in between two more heart emojis on either side of it.
Last month, Lucy's TikTok video sparked a lot of reaction as she paraded around showing her outfits, specifically her shoe choice which included sticking her legs up in the air to show viewers what footwear she had decided on. And while the mum-to-be joked that she was 'out of breath', her followers were impressed by her movements considering she is heavily pregnant.
Returning to the video-sharing platform earlier this weekend, Lucy was seen getting ready again for another outing. The 27-year-old was first seen standing in a snuggly grey dressing gown with her long blonde locks slightly waved. "I'm back," she said into the camera from her unborn son's nursery.
"We're going to get dressed, again, as someone who is still pregnant but does still have control of her bladder," she continued. "Everyone was pretty concerned in my last video about my bladder. But don't worry about my bladder."
She then proceed to put her outfit together, opting for an oversized pale green jumper which she matched with some darker green leggings. Lucy then put on a beige beanie hat with matching scarf. She captioned the video: "Absolute freak of the week :) nearly 38 weeks." But the most impressive part to her followers was when she showed off her white and green trainers.
Xxx_Gem_xxx said: "The fact you can raise your leg up like that at 38weeks pregnant!" Clo joked: "Everyone shocked at the leg. That’s how she got pregnant in the first place," to which Lucy replied: "Ur not wrong clo." Holly Jade laughed: "The way you just put your leg up like it was nothing though."
