Pregnant Love Island star Laura Anderson vows to support charities helping Scottish families

Laura Anderson has vowed to help women and families across Scotland by working with charities close to her heart.

The former Love Island star, 34, is about to become a first-time parent as she's expecting a baby girl with ex-partner Gary Lucy. The baby is due around the summer and Laura has been keeping followers on Instagram updated with her pregnancy journey. Now the Scots influencer has revealed she plans to dedicate herself to raising funds and awareness for some of the vital services she's discovered across the country since finding out she's pregnant.

Laura wrote on Instagram: "As part of @womenincharge2023 movement I’m dedicating my time to support women and family charities around Scotland. @juniors_play_cafe_ was the first charity I met with and I was truly blown away by the work founder @lesleyrobertson01 has achieved so far.

"To attend their charity fundraiser this weekend was an honour. If you’re a single mother, a parent in need or someone who’d like to volunteer their time, donate baby products, food or funds then get involved. Follow @womenincharge2023 or check out my charity highlight above for more info."

The blonde beauty, who split with Hollyoaks star Gary, 41, at the beginning of the year following their whirlwind romance, posted a string of snaps on her Instagram page to her adoring fleet of 1.5 million followers at the @juniors_play_cafe_ event in Glasgow's Doubletree Hilton.

Laura looked glowing as she flaunted her blossoming baby bump in a tight-fitting mini silver metallic dress paired with a bright lilac blazer slung over her shoulders as she wore her hair straight and accessorised it with a love heart pink handbag and matching earrings.

Fans that were lucky enough to meet Laura rushed to the comments to praise her latest venture and compliment her bump as her due date nears.

"You & bump looked great Laura, lovely to meet you & hear a bit about your movement," penned one fan on the post as they shared a series of hearts.

Another wrote: "Lovely to meet you Saturday, absolutely glowing! Juniors are so grateful for your support & time, and your commitment to Women in Charge is inspirational."

Meanwhile, Laura posted a video recently on her Instagram page that she had finally felt a few little kicks from her unborn baby girl.

"Apologies for the pants," she captioned the clip which showed her huge bump fluttering.

Laura was also spotted out in Coatbridge attending a christening, where she hit out at any potential trolls for her outfit choice which was a long blush-coloured evening dress with a huge thigh split up the side.

"#ootd Enter the thigh split police. I was in the church about 10minutes then sat in the corner of a social club and drank my lemonade with lime cordial for about 3hours. Everyone survived and no1 was offended by my left leg when I walked to the loo," she penned on the post.
