Pregnant Lauren Goodger hints she would take 'cheating' Charles Drury back after split

Pregnant Lauren Goodger has hinted she might take Charles Drury back following their explosive break-up amid ‘cheating’ allegations.

The 35-year-old reality star is currently pregnant with her second child with 24-year-old semi-pro footballer Charles – after giving birth to their daughter Larose six months ago.

Fans were stunned earlier this month when Lauren revealed not only that she is pregnant a second time, but that her romance with Charles was over after he slept with a love rival while they were on a break from their two-year romance.

Now the star has offered a glimmer of hope to her on-off boyfriend by admitting she could reignite her relationship with him once again.

In an interview with New! Magazine, Lauren was asked if it feels like the "final break-up this time?"

But the reality star replied: "Not really. It's weird – men are weird!"

Lauren candidly added that she won't stand to be pushed around, however.

She confessed she feels she needs: "more self-respect, because if you're not treating me how I should be treated, then you're not here. Who knows what's going to happen next week, next month. But I just know you can't come and go when children are involved."

The ex-Towie cast member also confessed she would always love Charles as he is the father of both her children, and that those feeling: "will never go".

She went on to explain that she and Charlie are working things out so that they will have an effective co-parenting strategy.

She said: "What we're doing now is different to what I've done before because last time we broke up we'd talk or see each other. Every day he was coming round, which I don't think is fair, so this is a learning game."

Lauren and Charles are currently separated after she threw him out upon discovering he had embarked on a fling with look-a-like model Amy Gilbert, 24, while they were on a break last year.

Charles has denied the fling was an affair, however.

Taking to Instagram Stories this week, Charles wrote: "Remember social media isn't real life! I've got a beautiful daughter & another one the way [sic], I don't have to express my love & happiness about things online all the time.

"I've never cheated & things might not have worked out how they should've but I'm working hard, keeping my head down to make sure I'm the best version of myself to be a good man & good dad."

Nonetheless, it has been suggested he was aware Lauren was pregnant with their second child when he bedded Amy.

And, indeed, Lauren has said Charles helped convince her to keep the baby after they fell pregnant so soon after the arrival of baby Larose.

She told OK! Magazine: "We weren’t very careful and Charlie was really pleased, but being honest I was really in two minds about it. I was like, 'I’m just getting myself back together – I’m going back to square one. Is this fair?'"

She continued: "You get real mum guilt, like, 'What about Larose? She’s still a baby, she still needs me, I won’t be able to be there for her’. A lot went through my mind which is why I’ve held out a bit longer until I’ve announced it."

She went on: "Charlie was like, 'I really want this baby.' And I said, 'So do I.' I made the decision to go ahead with it and I’m so glad I did."

The TV star then explained: "At the beginning, I was like, 'What am I going to do?' Everyone had an opinion and people close to me said, 'Lauren, you can’t do it.'

"But I stuck to my guns and said, 'No, I’ve made a decision and I’m going to go ahead.' Charlie was like, 'Yeah, I really want it.' We had that little break [in November] and he came back and was like, 'No, you're not having a termination – I want this family.'

"I knew deep down I was going to go ahead with it, but I was scared. I’ve got to think of Larose too. But if I had a big gap between children, I’d get myself sorted, Larose in a good routine and then I’m back to square one. I might as well do it now when I’m in new baby mode."
