Pregnant Laura Anderson has slammed cruel trolls 'abusing her' online saying she's in a 'vulnerable state' following her split from ex Gary Lucy.
The mum-to-be, 33, tackled the trolls head on with a Instagram story post to her 1.5 million followers saying she will block anyone who posts 'anything negative' on her account about her pregnancy.
The post comes just hours after the blonde beauty shared smiling snaps of her enjoying a solo staycation in Scotland and appeared to be brushing off her split and looking to the future.
But she was forced to condemn those who feel the need to attack her 'pregnancy' online.
She explained: "Nobody on here except my family and friends knows the reality regarding the past few months of my life because I don't comment on press articles or give details of any other party.
"I will never play the victim even in my vulnerable state. I'm simply moving on with my life with my head held high. I do not appreciate abuse at a time I am trying my best to protect myself and my unborn child."
She signed off the post adding: "Please think before typing."
The former Love Islander announced she was expecting her first child earlier this week.
She wrote in the caption: "Our hearts are full Baby Lucy due Summer ‘23".
However, speculation over if Laura and Gary were still together was rife after she shared a cryptic post saying she was going through a "difficult time" of late.
It has since been reported Laura, who met Gary on Celebs Go Dating last year, left the Hollyoaks actor "devastated" after ending their romance.
The soap actor is already a father of four from his fourteen year relationship with ex-wife Natasha Gray.
Confirming his separation from Laura, he told The Sun: "I love Laura but we are no longer together.
"My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby."
Meanwhile, a source claimed: "Gary's been left devastated - he's absolutely heartbroken.
"They spent Christmas together and he travelled to Glasgow last weekend in a desperate attempt to try to win her back, they enjoyed a meal out and attended their first scan together - but Laura was adamant it's over."
