Laura Anderson has broken her silence after Gary Lucy revealed the gender of their unborn child without her knowledge.
The Scots star, who shot to fame on the 2018 series of Love Island, announced she was expecting her first child with the Hollyoaks actor earlier this year. Laura, 33, and Gary, 41, met on the most recent series of Celebs Go Dating and fell in love in a whirlwind romance.
However, the couple have since split and Laura was reportedly unhappy that Gary revealed their unborn child's gender without her permission.
She has now broken her silence and chose to share some 'positive vibes' with her worried fans.
Laura posted on her Instagram stories: "Today is going to be a good day right gang! Love you all more than you know." She shared a video of a little girl saying: "Shh! I can't do negative today... positive vibes."
This comes after Gary announced he was expecting a baby girl with Laura in a post on Instagram. The Footballers Wives star shared a photo of a baby scan on Instagram, and posted another image which read: "Daddy's Girl" alongside the words: "For everyone that has been asking... Let's hope she inherits her mummy's looks."
He also captioned the post: "Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyone… so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!"
A source close to Laura told the Daily Record that she was very upset that he publicly announced the news. They said: "Gary announced the gender news without getting her consent. She’s really upset by this”.
Laura previously confirmed that she knew the gender of her baby and has already chosen a name but admitted she wasn't ready to reveal the news publicly quite yet, and she would share in "due course."
Speaking to Goss.ie, Laura said: "I know what I'm having and I have a name. I will share in due course… I've already done a small [gender reveal party], but I've not shared it publicly yet. But I will soon."
