Former Love Island star Laura Anderson has appeared to have taken a swipe at ex Gary Lucy with cryptic post following her recent pregnancy announcement.
Anderson, who announced last Wednesday that she and Hollyoaks actor Lucy were expecting their first child, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a message about "choosing peace over people."
The Instagram story read: "I've been choosing peace over people lately. So far no regrets."
Last week Lucy confirmed that the pair were no longer together shortly after she announced the pregnancy.
The actor, 41, also known for his role in Footballers Wives, heavily featured in the baby reveal Anderson shared on her Instagram.
Although excited about the impending arrival, he confirmed that he and Anderson had broken up but are dedicated to co-parenting their child.
He told The Sun: “I love Laura but we are no longer together.
“My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby.”
The outlet previously reported on their split last month and claimed at the time that Lucy was “heartbroken” and “tried to win her back” following their whirlwind romance.
At one point in the reel, Lucy posed with Anderson and her baby bump at Christmas, before he held up a babygrow with the words, “The one where we become parents. Baby Lucy due August 2023”, across it.
The TV personalities first met while filming E4 show Celebs Go Dating last year.
Anderson was by the actor’s side after he crashed his car in a terrifying Boxing Day accident, which saw him narrowly miss serious injury.
