Janette Manrara has been praised by her followers as she shared a video of one of her latest training session on Instagram alongside her thoughts on pregnancy weight gain after announcing she is expecting her first child.
The former Strictly Come Dancing pro, who now presents spin-off show It Takes Two, revealed earlier this month that she and her husband Aljaž Škorjanec are set to become parents this summer. The delighted couple were just about to start IVF treatment when Janette found out Janette was pregnant.
"We’re so happy to share our special news!" the pair wrote as the congratulations flooded in. After trying to fall pregnant for a couple of years, Janette and Aljaž, who is also a former Strictly pro dancer and left the hit BBC show last year, were considering IVF, they told Hello! magazine.
But it turns out they didn't need it as they managed to fall pregnant naturally. Janette, who will turn 40 in November, is due to give birth this summer. And the parents-to-be, who wed in 2017, have also relocated from London to Cheshire where they are now living closer to fellow professional dancer Gorka Marquez and his fiancée Gemma Atkinson, who is also due to give birth to her second child in the summer.
Janette had already spoken about her planned move and mentioned it again while sharing a video of her epic final workout session at her London gym. The dancer explained: "This was my last session in person with @charlotte.melville before I moved (not last week, the week before. Last week was crazy with work and the move). Going to really miss everyone at @pinnaclefhclub. We did 3 days of training this week. Really wanted to get her while I could. Working out and moving is still very important to me while pregnant.
"Not just for my physical health, (it reduces back pain, bloating, and constipation to exercise while pregnant) and to watch the baby weight (which I am embracing fully and loving because it means I’m healthy and so is the baby), but most importantly for my mental health.
"Working out while pregnant is beneficial for a better night sleep, and, as it does when you’re not pregnant, releases all those feel good hormones that genuinely makes us happy. My body is changing daily and I’ve moved house so staying on top of my mental health to cope with all the big changes is crucial. Also, continuing to exercise through the pregnancy means I will hopefully get back into the swing of tougher training easier when the baby comes instead of having to start from scratch all over again.
"The key is to keep moving for myself and for the baby, even if it is much simpler and slower movements, with much lighter weights. Want the baby to know one day we were working out together, even when they were in mummy’s belly."
Janette was then inundated with messages as they supported her outlook after following in Gemma's lead, who is a keen gym-goer and regularly shares her workouts during her pregnancy.

Meanwhile, Aljaz appears to be getting settled into his new surroundings as he was seen out at the pub in Wilmslow as Manchester United took on Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday (February 26).
The dancer shared a beaming snap of himself with pint in hand as he enjoyed the game with Hollyoaks star Ashely Taylor Dawson, who plays Darren Osborne in the Channel 4 soap. " "#chuffed," he captioned the post with a red heart as he revealed he was at The Grove restaurant in Wilmslow.
Aljaz and Janette left their flat in London last week which she described as 'bittersweet'. "t will be so nice to have Uncle Gorka and Auntie Gemma nearby," Janette told HELLO! magazine, referring to her Strictly co-star and Aljaz's former celebrity dance partner. "Gemma and I share the same birthday so I can't wait to tell her that we'll be having a baby together too."
