Pregnant Janette Manrara says she looks 'rough' but 'who cares' as she breaks down in tears over sweet baby gift

Janette Manrara has been told not to apologise after claiming she looked rough in a video which saw her break down in tears over a sweet baby gift. The former Strictly Come Dancing pro revealed last month that she and her husband Aljaž Škorjanec are set to become parents this summer.

The delighted couple were just about to start IVF treatment when they found out Janette was pregnant. "We’re so happy to share our special news!" the pair wrote on Instagram alongside a picture from their Hello! magazine shoot as the congratulatory messages came flooding in.

Last week, Janette was inundated with praise by her followers as she shared a video of one of her latest training sessions, following in the footsteps of pal Gemma Atkinson. But in her latest video, the mum-to-be was seen breaking down as she was sent a sentimental gift for her unborn child.

"I look a little rough in the video but I had to share this special moment, so who cares!" she started the caption of her post which started with a picture of her and fellow former Strictly star Aljaz on stage during their own theatre tour. Continuing to explain, Janette typed: "I received a lovely package from @dsilondon congratulating us on the baby news. I remember sharing the story with them of how much I loved dancing in one of their dresses for a specific moment of our @rememberingtour

"#AChristmasToRemember. It was my favourite moment in the show! If you came and watched, it was the opening of our second act. The music was magical, and I always felt like I was taken away to a dreamworld dancing it w/ @aljazskorjanec.

"We found out we were pregnant during our Christmas tour, and on the last show, I had tears in my eyes dancing that dance because Aljaz and I shared a moment right before we performed celebrating the 3 of us, on stage, dancing together before anyone else in the world found out our very special little secret.

"To say it was one of the most special moments of my life, is an understatement. Now, @dsilondon have given me as a gift the dress I wore for that number as they recalled the story and how much I loved dancing in it….. such a thoughtful thing to do! I am so far away from my family but it’s gestures like these and all of your kind messages of love that have made me so emotional and feel so much love around Aljaz and I and our little baby. Thank you @dsilondon for this very special gift. I will cherish it forever."

Janette, who will turn 40 in November, was also seen in a video unpacking the thoughtful gift. Aljaž, 33, was filming his wife and as she burst into tears, he was heard saying: "You see that's what a dress can do." And fans were also quick to respond.

@lyndsey_procter said: "You don’t look rough at all! Beautiful." @chrisnich69 commented: "Don’t apologise for looking ‘rough’, you look fantastic." @catrina.mary.marsh wrote: "How very special!! Didn't have the opportunity to attend the Show unf but thanks for sharing your (x3!!) special moment!! Incidentally, you couldn't look rough if you tried!!!"

@dannii_chalmers posted: "Gorgeous moment and you are simply a beautiful couple! You’ll make amazing parents!" @joarcher79 replied: "This made so tearful, so beautiful and what an amazing memory. You two will make the best parents." @janettesxstrictly_ added: "Not me getting emotional what a sweet moment ! Xx the dress is absolutely stunning."
