Pregnant Chrissy Teigen is not having it easy in this pregnancy as she's revealed to her Instagram followers that she's been "coughing up blood".
The star is pregnant with her fourth child after losing son Jack last year just weeks before his due date.
In August this year, she and husband John Legend revealed they were pregnant again with their 'rainbow' baby, which is due in early 2023. The pair are already parents to six year old daughter Luna and four year old son Milo.
As the 36 year old model and TV presenter uploaded a glowing natural snap, she revealed it isn't quite what it seems. She told her 39 million followers: "This was yesterday. today I have two sick babies and I’m coughing up blood! I love fall."
Chrissy has previously revealed this pregnancy has been tough and she has suffered with digestive issues. After seeking medical advice, she has been using acid reflux tape to curb her symptoms.
In a previous Instagram story, Chrissy showed the black acid reflux tape stuck across her growing baby bump in a nude snap. Thanking her doctor, she revealed the tape has been working to help her feel better.
In another Instagram update, Chrissy confessed that her years of being able to eat what she wanted have come back to haunt her.
She posted: "I have lived the life of a spoiled rotten stomach. i could do ANYTHING to it - street meat, landlocked sushi, stuff that smelled off, 5 second rule floor food, ghost pepper contests, countless shots.
"And she was strong, my stomach. now, half of a single cherry tomato can take me down for 12 hours."
This pregnancy is Chrissy and husband John Legend's fourth child, after they tragically lost son Jack at 20 weeks in 2021.
In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Chrissy revealed the sad loss after their doctor informed them that Jack wouldn't survive and the only option was to end the pregnancy.
Chrissy previously stated that Jack died as a result of complications caused by a partial placental abruption, which is when the placenta detaches from the womb depriving the baby of oxygen and causing heavy bleeding in the mother.
