Pregnant Charlotte Dawson shares health update after 'constantly worrying' during second pregnancy

Charlotte Dawson has shared her relief as she offered her followers a health update during her second pregnancy. The reality star shared the joyous news in February that she and her fiancé Matthew Sarsfield are preparing to welcome their 'rainbow baby' after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage.

The loved-up couple revealed that "three will become four" after they welcomed their son, Noah, in 2020. "We are just over the moon to grow our little fambo," Charlotte shared on social media at the time before adding: "I know how supportive you all have been with my miscarriage last year.. & you’ve all wanted me to have another baba!!

"It’s been tough since we lost our little cherub, but this has been perfect timing for our rainbow baby. Can’t wait for Noah to be a big brother. Overwhelmed with all the love, support & messages will try my best & get back to you all."

Charlotte has since been keeping her loyal following updated on her second pregnancy journey on social media, recently confirming she and Matt are expecting another baby boy, and last month, the 30-year-old, who is the daughter of late comedian Les Dawson from Collyhurst, confirmed that she was undergoing tests for gestational diabetes.

She was diagnosed with the common condition that affects one in 20 pregnant women when she was pregnant with Noah. She believed the condition was just part of her pregnancy and returned to her usual diet including her favourite chips and gravy after giving birth.

But Charlotte was soon told to clean up her diet during a trip to the doctor after she felt 'a bit funny' and was told she was still at risk of type two diabetes, a condition that causes the level of sugar in the blood to become too high and can lead to stroke, blindness, heart disease, kidney failure, limb amputation and early death.

In an Instagram Story video posted at the start of last month, Charlotte shared on her Instagram Story that she was at the hospital undergoing tests to see if she had gestational diabetes. Later, posting a tired-looking selfie, she wrote: "Really feeling exhausted today... Listening to my body. I had so much [to do] today whilst Noah is at nursery but I feel so drained. Will let you all know when I get my GD results. Thank you all for your messages. Love you all."

And now Charlotte has got her results and was seen celebrating the positive news. As she posted a photo of herself wearing a blue and green striped dress that showed off her blossoming baby bump, Charlotte said she was "buzzing" as she shared the update with fans.

The soon-to-be mum-of-two penned: " Yaaayyy I’m buzzing guys I don’t have gestational diabetes this time round with baba boyo. I can relax & enjoy my pregnancy now I’ve been constantly wondering & worried.. im not ruling it out still tho but I’ve been for a few tests now & so far so good.. he’s cooking nicely in mamas belleh, 24 weeks it’s going too quickly!!"

She continued: "I felt alreeet ere so you can have a nice too glam to give a chuffin damn piccy". Charlotte also celebrated the news with her son in a sweet Instagram story video. The clip shows the former Ex On The Beach star laying in bed alongside her toddler son Noah as she chats with her son.

She then tells the camera: "Guys we've got some exciting news, haven't we Noah? Noah are we going to tell everybody that Mummy hasn't got gestational diabetes this time. Yay," she says while holding her arm up in the air before continuing the sweet exchange with Noah. Charlotte asks her son: "Say yay," who repeats after his mum as she continues to cheer. She then says to the camera: "I'm so happy guys, I celebrated with a chippy, had to."
