Pregnant Charlotte Crosby reveals exactly how she knew boyfriend Jake was 'the one'

Charlotte Crosby has opened up about how she knew her boyfriend Jake was 'the one' and why she got pregnant so soon in their relationship.

The Geordie Shore star has been dating Jake Ankers for just over eight months and has so far kept her relationship relatively private.

But after announcing her pregnancy earlier this year, she has been keeping her fans updated on her journey on social media.

Taking to YouTube, the 32-year-old answered some need-to-know questions from her fans as she delved into her pregnancy journey and even hinted that she already has her baby names ready - but would not share them just yet.

When asked by one fan how she knew Jake was 'the one' she said there were "so many different reasons".

The mum-to-be added: "When I met Jake I literally had a criteria list that people had to check because it was just getting beyond a joke how all of the relationships I was getting into with the wrong people.

"So I actually, my friends told us you need to write a list of what you need from a man in a relationship and if that man doesn't fit any criteria on that list it's a no, and don't go thinking that you can change it because men rarely change, very rarely change.

"If he's not going to do it in the beginning, he's never going to do it. So I had my list and things on my list were like does well for themselves, career driven - because I'm very career driven. I love work and I love my businesses, I love striving for more.

"Has their own money, not interested in fame, even in the slightest, so not going to use us in other words.

"There wasn't much stuff about looks because I'm not really that much of a pretentious person, it was just mainly like wants children, good family person, good morals, kind, loving, respectful."

Charlotte went on the say that within the first month, Jake "ticked all the boxes" and everything was "totally beyond the bar" she had set.

She went on to say that she didn't know how hard getting pregnant was going to be and so wanted to "gauge is this something that's going to be hard for us, because if it is I'm going to have to change my whole life plan".

Back in 2016, Charlotte devastatingly suffered an ectopic pregnancy during her relationship with Gary Beadle and after announcing her pregnancy this year, she previously spoke about how it was a moment "I wasn't ever sure would be mine."

But speaking to her fans on YouTube, the star, who has always dreamed of having three children, said she wanted to find out "sooner rather than later".

However, after assuming it was going to be a lot harder, she was "going to let it happen in its own time" before it "magically happened."

She added: "We are both very much in love and already planning an amazing future together. I don't think time can be a good indication of anything.

"I've been with men for like three years and they haven't been able to give us one thing that Jake given us in just 8.5 months and that says a lot.

"You can be with someone for 10 years and you could still be waiting to get a ring on your finger and be unhappy and waiting for something that's probably never going to happen because this person's just quite comfortable with riding the wave as it is.

"And then you could meet someone a month later and they could give you everything you want in the next six months. So I don't really believe that time is a good indication for anything."

She continued: "Everything happens for a reason and this has obviously happened for a reason. I think the universe has planned this all out".

When asked if she had any tips for morning sickness, she said "nothing truly helps" but ginger "knocks the edges off a little bit", which she found was the "best thing to work."
