Finally, Leeds United are back down to four injuries on their list, though three are significant absentees in England pair Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford, plus captain Liam Cooper.
Marcelo Bielsa confirmed Robin Koch and Diego Llorente would be available to him when Tottenham Hotspur visit on Saturday lunchtime.
That pair of internationals have grounds for a recall, but as competition for places slowly increases it’s going to be tricky to see where they fit in.
Llorente, on his day, has proven himself to be the club’s best centre-back and with Luke Ayling better at right-back, the Spaniard should slot back in alongside Pascal Struijk.
Adam Forshaw was praised as one of the two best performers for Leeds at Liverpool by Bielsa and looks well placed to continue as the defensive midfielder tomorrow.
Based on Bielsa’s recent comments, Koch is seen as the outright second-best option in that role behind Phillips and ahead of Forshaw.
However, the German’s head injury may prompt Bielsa to remain cautious with his number five and while there are other options to play, Koch could be held back on the bench.
Ayling’s shift to right-back should release Stuart Dallas into central midfield at long last. The Northern Ireland international played well there in Wednesday’s second half.
With Mateusz Klich and Rodrigo each hooked at the break in Liverpool, you may be able to toss a coin on who Dallas partners.
Klich is the more natural option in there and he played well last weekend against Manchester United, if not at Anfield.
Rodrigo was decent last weekend too when he played as a striker. Daniel James was chasing shadows in attack at Liverpool and this seems a good chance to get the Spaniard back up there.
We’re then left with the age-old debate of James versus Jack Harrison. The latter has done very little to catch the eye since his hat-trick while James has shown enough flashes to warrant continuing.
It’s a tight call, but we expect James to get the nod.
