Predicted Celtic XI for Norwich clash as Aaron Mooy and Moritz Jenz could face debut wait

The big day is fast approaching for Celtic and Ange Postecoglou with little over a week until their Premiership title defence begins against Aberdeen. But first they will contest a final pre-season friendly as Norwich City come to Glasgow.

Postecoglou cut a somewhat frustrated figure figure after the midweek draw with Legia Warsaw but promised his team will be better when the real action gets under way. He will, however, be expecting a sharp display against the Canaries, who are unbeaten thus far in their summer preparations and are gearing up for a crack at returning to the Premier League.

With the new season now so close, expect the Celtic boss to field a starting side as close to full strength as possible, one that could serve as preview to what he's got planned for the Dons. That means new faces Aaron Mooy and Moritz Jenz will most likely start on the bench.

But with limited opportunity to get them both up to speed before competitive football commences, both players could feature at some point if fit enough. They arrived in a double deal earlier this week to bolster the Premiership champions' squad.

It's likely to be a familiar line-up come 3pm on Saturday, though, with the likes of Jota, Josip Juranovic and Liel Abada all vying to come into the fray. A raft of half-time and early second period changes derailed Celtic against Legia, so it'll be interesting to see whether Postecoglou sticks with a more settled line-up for longer.
