Celtic have got off to an unblemished start to the Premiership campaign and Ange Postecoglou will look to continue that early form on the road against Kilmarnock.
Derek McInnes' side are fresh from facing Rangers at Ibrox as they looked to frustrate Gio van Bronckhorst's side as the Scottish Championship winners made themselves tough to break down. That is likely to be the tactic used once against when Celtic arrive at Rugby Park looking to make it nine points from nine so far.
The plastic pitch will also be a factor in Postecoglou's decision making with his selection during the trip to Ayrshire, with the boss admitting he doesn't like the surface and that it changes the game on the day. That could be bad news for Carl Starfelt as the Swede looks to ramp up his match fitness having made his return from a knock behind the scenes at Lennoxtown.
That will likely see Moritz Jenz keep his place at the back against Kilmarnock. The centre-back will face competition from Stephen Welsh, who is also back in training having missed the clash with Ross County.
The game also looks to have come too soon for Reo Hatate who remains on the sidelines with a muscle issue. David Turnbull looks set to continue in the midfield engine room alongside Matt O'Riley.
Yosuke Ideguchi has also started his recovery away from the first-team group. However, Postecoglou has admitted a return to the squad is a "fair bit off.".
