A prankster ended up in A&E with a cup stuck to his lip after taking on the idiotic Gorilla Glue Challenge.
Len Martin, from Los Angeles, US, hoped to prove a TikTok influencer's ordeal - which saw her hair become welded to her head - was exaggerated.
The aspiring rapper, 37, applied some of the industrial strength glue, originally designed for making furniture, but ended up in a panic after it went horribly wrong.
Social media influencer Tessica Brown has previously documented her nightmarish few weeks which culminated in her pony-tail being chopped off and a surgical procedure to remove the glue.
The mum-of-five, 40, from Louisiana, US, was seen in tears in multiple videos and suffered excruciating migraines - but Mr Martin thought he could easily lick off the glue.
He posted a video on Facebook of him applying the adhesive to the ring of red plastic cup and then put it over his nose.

The video cuts off there, but later Mr Martin uploaded a photo showing him in hospital with the cup still on his face.
"I thought that chick with the gorilla glue was making that story up... but no... it's real... I don't know why I tried it... now they talking about cutting the tip of my lips off in surgery...y'all pray for me," he wrote, adding the hashtag #gorrilagluechallenge
Speaking to WKBN, he added: "I thought she was just playing around because I didn’t think it was that serious.
"I actually tried it out before and it actually didn’t do anything for me… So I was like, 'Okay, she’s lying' and there are all these challenges going on so I was like, 'Okay I’m going to try it,' and it went backwards.
"I thought I could lick it off kind of to moisten it and pull it right off but that didn’t work," he added.
Doctors were able to remove the cup but it involved a painful peeling process and Mr Martin is keen to warn others against copying the challenge.
Ms Brown earned attention around the globe this month when she substituted Göt2b Glued Spray hairspray for Gorilla Glue.
She washed her hair 15 times, tried an at-home acetone treatment, cut off her ponytail, and even visited A&E — but had no luck.
In the end, she was forced to fly to LA where plastic surgeon Dr Michael Obeng spent four hours using a custom mix of medical-grade adhesive remove, aloe vera, olive oil and acetone to dissolve the glue.
A brush was then ran through her hair, with most of it being saved.
Responding to Ms Brown's mishap, a spokesperson for Gorilla Glue wrote on social media: "We are aware of the situation and we are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident that Miss Brown experienced using our Spray Adhesive on her hair.
"This is a unique situation because this product s not indicated for use in or on hair as it is considered permanent.
"Our spray adhesive states in the warning label 'do not swallow. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing'."
The company added: "We are glad to see in her recent video that Miss Brown has received medical treatment from her local medical facility and wish her the best."
