A warning has been issued to parents as a popular decoration has been recalled due to safety fears.
Households across the UK are dressing up their homes to get into the spirit of the season. However, Poundland has urged anyone who who bough a light-up pumpkin and ghost decoration to return the product.
The warning was shared by consumer rights group Which?. A post on Instagram said: "URGENT RECALL: Poundland is recalling light-up pumpkin and ghost Halloween decorations, as it was discovered that the battery compartment is not adequately secured and could expose the button cell batteries inside.

"Button batteries can be swallowed, posing a choking hazard for young children. They can cause serious damage to the gastrointestinal tract if ingested."
The product code of the light up pumpkin and ghost is 536659 and it had been available in store from October 1.
Parents took to the comments after the warning.
