Poundland's school clothing range has prices from just £1

Homes feeling the pinch in the cost of living crisis will be dreading buying school uniforms. But now Poundland is selling a full range of school clothing for kids.

They don't stock officially branded clothing for any school, but there will be standard polo shirts, sweatshirts, skirts and trousers, and the most expensive products cost a pocket-friendly £5.

The range caters for kids from nursery age all the way up to school leavers and is designed with Pep & Co. Sizes go from three to four years to the end of school, at around 16 years in most of the items, reports Birmingham Live.

Polo shirts are between £1 and £2, while sweatshirts range from £2 to £4, with sizes from three to four years up to age 12/13. School skirts and trousers begin at £3, going up £5 - they come in sizes three to four years, up to 15/16 years.

The store is also releasing a new stationery range, with each item costing just £1. This is one in a series of moves that the high street discount shop is doing to help families during the cost of living crisis.
