With children heading back to school next month, retailers have been releasing their school uniform ranges ahead of the academic year. And the latest store to reveal their collection while keeping costs low for parents is Poundland.
The bargain chain is selling a full range of school clothing for kids, including polo shirts, sweatshirts, skirts and trousers - and prices start at £1.
While there won’t be any officially branded clothing, many of the items will come in handy for children from nursery age to school leavers, Birmingham Live reports.

The range is designed with Pep & Co, and sizes go from three to four years, to around 16 years in most of the items.
Polo shirts are priced at between £1 to £2, while sweatshirts range in price from £2 to £4, with sizes beginning at three to four years up to size 12/13. School skirts and trousers begin at £3, going up £5 - they come in sizes three to four years, up to 15/16 years.
The store is also releasing a new stationery range, with each item costing just £1. This is one in a series of moves that the high street discount shop is doing to help families during the cost of living crisis.
Poundland has also announced a new scheme to reduce its prices even further. The high street giant will be offering items for as little as 1p every Wednesday on its websites, Poundshop.com.
