A popular retailer has announced it will be closing its store in Cumbernauld this month.
Poundland will no longer be serving customers at their Teviot Walk branch from June 11 with the discount retail store apologising to shoppers.
A note plastered on the shop window reads: "Sorry. We're closing 11th June. Don't worry, we're not far."

Poundland has advised customers that they can instead visit their nearest stores in Airdrie or Coatbridge.
A spokesperson said: "We never like to close a store – this year we’ll add more than we began the year with and much more selling space.
"We know even though it was a small store, it will be disappointing to customers in Cumbernauld that we’re closing on 11 June.
"It goes without saying we work hard to look after our colleagues there and we hope to welcome Teviot Walk customers to our closest stores in Airdrie or Coatbridge."
The UK-wide retail brand recently opened Scotland's biggest Poundland on Crown Street, Glasgow, where they sell everything from food and drink to make-up and clothing.
