Premier League football will resume to some sort of normality when it kicks off for the 2023-24 campaign. Leeds United fans have had to content with three-years of interruptions to the normal schedule as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the World Cup in Qatar.
There's set to be some fixture congestion at the end of the current campaign to make up for lost time after that break. With the Carabao Cup and FA Cup factored into the remaining Premier League and Champions League fixtures.
For Leeds, they don't have to worry about the congestion of a European tournament this season, but a cup run next year wouldn't go amiss.

Confirmed changes
Return of the winter player break:
Unlike most of their Premier League rivals, Leeds United had the majority of their squad left behind to enjoy the winter break for the World Cup, before returning to the training ground. Jesse Marsch's side are back into competitive action next week and will be hoping to take advantage of Man City's depleted squad.
The FA are reintroducing the mandated winter break next season, meaning players will stand down between January 13-20 after what is often a hectic festive schedule.

Semi-automated offsides:
The new technology has already been successfully implemented during this season's Champions League and took centre stage in the World Cup in Qatar. Which might mean semi-automated offside decisions could be introduced to English football next year.
There has been no confirmation that the technology, which has been brought in to improve the VAR process, will be implemented in English football. However, with VAR coming in following the 2018 World Cup there is a strong likelihood that the new offside system will arrive very soon.
