Tributes left to Queen Elizabeth II at a Glasgow war memorial were allegedly vandalised yesterday, on the morning of her state funeral.
Images shared to a social media page show what appears to be a Pot Noodle emptied over the tributes, and images of the Queen left there having been removed.
It is believed incident took place before 8.50am on Monday, as a member of the page arrived to clean the memorial and found the ground still wet, reports Glasgow Live.
The statement shared to the Dennistoun War Memorial Facebook page yesterday said: "To the person who decided to remove the picture of the Queen and throw what looks like a Pot Noodle over the tributes.
"The police will be notified and they will no doubt be looking at the CCTV which covers the memorial 24/7.

"This must have been done shortly before 8.50am this morning as the ground was still wet when I arrived to clean the memorial.
"We have most definitely seen the best and the worst of Scotland this past few days."
Members of the local community took to the comments on social media to express their anger, with one saying: "No dignity or respect, this is very sad. I'm sure you can't be feeling very proud of yourself."
