HUNDREDS of people were forced to queue outside Glasgow Central Station in the wake of disruption caused by Storm Gerrit.
Pictures from the scene show people weighed down with luggage in a line that snakes around the building and stretches down Union Street.

Most of the commuters are believed to be waiting for Avanti West Coast Services between Glasgow and London that have been cancelled.
One user wrote on social media: "@AvantiWestCoast you have cancelled trains and now telling us to join the queue which is so long it goes OUTSIDE.
"How is that customer care? We pay over the odds for a crap service.
"My brother has had problems every time he has visited Glasgow to Preston."

They added: "It's carnage at Glasgow Central. @AvantiWestCoast are cancelling trains and then telling people to queue outside."
