Jaroslav Šilhavý resigned immediately after reaching the finals in a 'do one' to critics moaning at defensive tactics. Ivan Hašek was a surprise replacement, but a decent spell as interim 15 years was enough to give the qualified lawyer the job, four straight wins – including a 7-1 drubbing of Malta 11 days ago – proving method in the madness.

Portugal boast one of the most complete squads at the tournament and boss Martinez spent the two warm-up friendlies tinkering with his formation. A 4-3-3 was the order of the day in the 2-1 defeat to Croatia, before trying a 3-4-1-2 in a 3-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland.
In the latter, Joao Felix played as a No10 behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafael Leao, with Bruno Fernandes unexpectedly deep and it'll be fascinating to see what the former Everton and Belgium gaffer goes with today.
For the Czechs, coach Hasek has given a reprieve to Vladimir Coufal and Jan Kuchta, who were both axed from March's friendlies having gone to a nightclub three days before the previous November's do-or-die qualifier with Moldova.
Coufal is likely to start at right-back today, with Patrik Schik fit again after missing every match to get here with a serious knee injury. The Bayer Leverkusen man should be fresh and is one to watch.
