The UK Foreign Office has again updated its advice for people travelling to Portugal.
Millions of people visit Portugal for holidays and other trips each year, and now the Government has alerted travellers to further covid rule changes in the European nation.
Until recently, visitors and residents alike were still required to wear face masks in some settings - both in mainland Portugal and the Azores.

However, this requirement has now been dropped. In Madeira and Porto Santo, however, the regional health authority recommends the use of a face covering in medical facilities, retirement and nursing homes if you have been diagnosed with a respiratory illness.
The Foreign Office has also updated people regarding industrial action due to take place in Portugal. Portuguese immigration officers are due to strike between now and June 26, which "may cause travel disruption".
Gov.uk has issued the following advice: "If you are travelling during this period, allow additional time to clear border control when entering and exiting Portugal. You should consult your airline or tour operator for updates prior to travel."
