Brits heading on Portugal holidays this summer will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination - or take a Covid test.
Previously, Portugal has required UK holidaymakers to either show proof of vaccination, or a negative PCR/antigen test in order to visit the holiday hotspot.
However in a huge boost for Brits, Portugal has now scrapped any remaining Covid rules for travellers.
The new rules have already come into effect, meaning that even if you're travelling within the next few days you won't need a test or proof of vaccination.
The Foreign Office has subsequently changed its advice to explain: "There are no COVID vaccination or testing requirements for entry to mainland Portugal, Madeira and Porto Santo."

Although Covid restrictions have lifted on mainland Portugal, there are still some measures in place around face masks.
Anyone aged 9 and over will be asked to wear a face mask on public transport, when travelling by air or in the likes of taxis.
It is however worth noting that if you're planning a holiday to the Azores, Covid travel rules are still in place.
To visit the Azores you need one of the following; proof of Covid vaccination, a PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure, an antigen test taken within 24 hours, or "valid evidence" of recent recovery from Covid.
