Sunderland will be looking for revenge this weekend against a Portsmouth side who have not lost on the road in the league since October.
But the Black Cats themselves proudly boast the best home record in the division, meaning something will have to give.
Portsmouth head to the Stadium of Light on Saturday, having beaten Sunderland 4-0 at Fratton Park in October on a rain-sodden pitch.
The Black Cats currently sit second in the table, one point behind top-placed side Wycombe Wanderers, having won 10 games out of 13 at home this season.
However, Portsmouth arrive on a run of form, having climbed from near the bottom of the table up to ninth place putting them within sight of a play-off spot.

So far in the league this season they have drawn away four times, won away four times and lost away four times, but they have not lost away since mid-October when they were beaten 4-1 by Rotherham United.
Since then they drew away at Accrington Stanley, beat Wycombe Wanderers 1-0, beat Lincoln City 3-0, beat Gillingham 1-0, and drew 0-0 with Cambridge United at the start of this month.
They had also been on an unbeaten run of 10 matches in the league home and away until losing 2-1 to MK Dons on Saturday at Fratton Park. Their away streak however remains intact as they head to Plough Lane to face AFC Wimbledon tonight.
Pompey boss Danny Cowley told his club website after losing to MK Dons: “We were disappointed to lose our unbeaten run on Saturday, so now we have to work hard to start another one.”
The match at the Stadium of Light on Saturday kicks off at 3pm.
