Porsche Thailand by AAS Group recently showcased the first "911 Carrera GTS - 30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition" at the Plenary Hall of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
Designed around the concept of "Dreams In Colours", it was inspired by the idea that everyone possesses boundless imagination and remarkable creativity, which manifests itself when they pursue their own goals. The range of colours reflects different taste preferences and demonstrates how Porsche has evolved into everyone's dream sports car.
Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak, a president of AAS Group, said: "Upon looking back at the long journey that the Group has taken, I can still remember the first day that we started this business in 1986 with just a few employees and limited resources, but today we have 430 employees. By 1989, we were entrusted by Porsche to be its authorised distributor. In 1993, the company was appointed Thailand's sole importer and distributor of Porsche cars by the German manufacturer. We started this business because we had a dream, the same way that Ferry Porsche did when he decided to build his dream sports car."
Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur has blended creativity and first-rate craftsmanship to create seven colour palettes from the brand's Paint-to-Sample programme -- Signal Yellow, Pink Ruby Star, Signal Green, Pastel Orange, Riviera Blue, Ultraviolet and Fire Red.
These vivid hues mimic the long-standing Thai custom of associating a distinct colour with each day of the week. Only 30 of the special "Porsche 911 Carrera GTS - 30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition" cars will be built. They boasts an exceptional blend of unique design elements.
Hannes Ruoff, CEO of Porsche Asia Pacific, Boris Apenbrink, director of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur Vehicles, as well as famous people like Pol Gen San Sarutanont, Sara Lamsam, Dr Nathasedh Poonsapmanee, Thititham-Kallayanee Kamolvisit and Duandkamol Pechlert, attended the event.
